About Jay Adams

I am a self-taught designer living outside of Boston with my husband, Trevor, and our two children.

Beauty runs in my family. My mother is an artist and was my middle school art teacher. My father was a sculptor and a contractor. They designed and built the house I grew up in. We now live in that house with my mother on the property in an ADU. You can learn more that project here. My grandmother, aunts, cousins, and brother are all makers in their own right. I have been lucky to grow up and continue to be surrounded by people who value beauty and understand its power.
